About our AI Assistant

You may have already used or are thinking of using our website AI Assistant. Our AI Assistant is a chatbot.

Our chatbot uses a computer program (natural language processing) to understand your questions and provide responses that simulate human conversation. It uses artificial intelligence to learn and improve the quality of answers it provides over time.

Our chatbot answers your questions using information held on our website. It uses that information and tailors a response to the questions you ask.

We do not connect questions asked with people in our system. This helps ensure your privacy is protected. Chatbot conversation threads that are reported by users as “unhelpful” or “inappropriate” are examined by us for quality control and improvement purposes and then deleted.

Like all chatbots ours works by predicting responses rather than knowing the meaning of its responses, so there is a risk it might sometimes give inaccurate responses. To ensure responses are as accurate as possible we have conducted extensive testing focused on checking the quality of answers. We also check the chatbot’s responses on an ongoing basis to ensure they stay as accurate as possible.
