In March this year, the NSW Ombudsman tabled a first-of-its-kind report to shed greater light on the use of automated decision-making (including AI) in the NSW public sector.
Research conducted by the ARC Centre of Excellence on Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) identified that use of automated decision-making (ADM) in the NSW public sector is widespread and increasing.
