PID Awareness Week

From 5 to 9 August 2024, the NSW Ombudsman's Office will be running a series of virtual sessions to raise awareness and understanding of the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022, and the importance of a speak up culture for all public officials in NSW.

There will be a range of panel conversations and presentations aimed at improving awareness and understanding of the PID Act and the importance of reporting serious wrongdoing. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the sessions.

The virtual sessions are open to all public sector officials, with some sessions for particular groups such as disclosure officers, managers, contractors, subcontractors and Local Aboriginal Land Councils.
